WTF? Dept.: Only His God Knows
It’s January 4 and here we go as 2012 ramps up to be even more pathetically weird than its predecessor.
Let the festivities begin with comment from one of the biggest nut jobs out there, Pat Robertson. God (you remember him, that ultra-conservative who generally sits out the horrors of life on Earth) spoke to Pat and God is very unhappy with the elitist, intellectual black man occupying the Oval Office:
Your country will be torn apart by internal stress. A house divided cannot stand. Your president holds a radical view of the direction of your country which is at odds with the majority. Expect chaos and paralysis. Your president holds a view which is at the odds with the majority — it’s a radical view of the future of this country, and so that‘s why we’re having this division. This is a spiritual battle which can only be won by overwhelming prayer. The future of the world is at stake because if America falls, there’s no longer a strong champion of freedom and a champion of the oppressed of the world. There must be an urgent call to prayer.
Any deity that speaks directly to Robertson probably has horns, hoofs, red skin and a tail.

Something of worthy note did happen today, Michele Bachmann, a friend to liberals and gays everywhere, has dropped out of the GOP race to reinfest the White House. I wish Mrs. Bachmann good fortune as she becomes a talking head under the employ of Rupert Murdoch. Isn’t that what all failed Republicans become these days?
