So let’s get this straight…Charlie Sheen can make a “porn family,” Britney Spears had a 55 hour marriage, Larry King has had 8 divorces, Kim Kardashian’s marriage cost was 10 million dollars & it lasted 72 days, Newt Gingrich had affairs while his 1st and 2nd wives were very ill, 43-50% of traditional marriages end in divorce, but somehow it is same sex marriage that will “destroy the institution of marriage?” REALLY!?

I’ll be the first ballsy one to make a comment.
1) I’m a married guy, father, etc. If you get married to another man, your marriage will have absolutely ZERO effect on mine.
2) How does something called the Defense of Marriage Act seek to ban marriage – but not to ban divorce? That is sofa king stupid.
3) This is a typical ploy to ban the things that “we” don’t like, done by “them”, those different folk over there.
4) Any excuse that starts with “how am I supposed to explain two men/women having sex to my small children” should be instantly shut down with “why the fuck are you explaining sex to small children?”
5) A Constitutional Amendment to ban gay marriage? Okay. A federal health insurance? No way! The government needs to stay out of our lives! Oh, the huge manatee.

Don’t expect common sense and bigotry to arise from the same sorry sheeple. They are so enthralled by the fear mongers that they willingly hand over their lives, freedoms, and hard-won capital to continue to be suppressed. They send their sons and daughters to senseless wars and feel it is their duty. They never question authority unless it is doing something that might scare them into facing reality like approving of the science behind global warming and evolution. No, better to worship their Pie-In-The Sky Deity, and expect his protection. That sure works during natural disasters. Gay Marriage violates the principal that only “breeders” are worthy humans. it maintains the concept that Christians alone are special and graced by their beliefs.(No matter how nonsensical those beliefs may be.) All others can “die and decrease the surplus population”, to quote Dicken’s unenlightened character, Scrooge. If Fox News told them often enough they would believe the world was flat.
Thank you for supporting my right to equality, Mr. Hotspur. I don’t expect I will ever marry again (the next time would be to a man), but I, and millions like me, appreciate your support. The more sane people on our side the better.
