What We’re Up Against Dept.: Do Your Small Part

Are you sick of the poster boys for the .05 percent yet? Are you disgusted to hear that they are worth over $100 Billion now.

Of course you know who I’m referring to, don’t you? The Koch Brothers, heirs to a substantial petroleum fortune and all-around bad guys who work hard to buy out politicians, rape the planet and harm us are the owners of one company that may impact your life on a regular basis: Georgia Pacific, producers of the following paper products:

Eating off of Dixie plates? Cleaning up with Brawny paper towels? Wiping yourself with Angel Soft or Northern tissue? Well stop it! Every time you do that you contribute to Koch Industries.

 

The individual American citizen’s voice gets smaller and less important every day as we turn from Democracy to Oligarchy. These SOBs are advancing that cause with our money. We still have purchasing power. Do your small part and never buy GP products. The company logo disgraces every package. If you see it, put the crap back on the shelf. Some other products you might not be aware belong to these “patriots” are Lycra, Polarguard and Stainmaster carpets. No, don’t throw out what you already own. The damage was done already. Just be aware of what’s on sale in the future and do your small part to affect the Koch’s (pronounced “cock”, no matter what they say) profits.

If you are even semi-progressive, every cent withheld is a cent kept from those who work to oppress the common people. It’s impossible to keep track or boycott every nefarious firm out there. But boycotting some of the worst like Koch Industries, Tyson Brands, Monsanto, Wal-Mart and Cargill is relatively easy. Use your power now while we still have any. If we don’t, tomorrow may become the nightmare we have all feared.
